Michelle, Hospital Manager

Michelle serves as KSAC's Hospital Manager and has been with us since mid 2008. She has enjoyed working in the veterinary field since completing a veterinary assistant program in 2003. Michelle believes that she has found something rare with us, she says, "I love working here, there is something special about our clinic; everyone on our team is a devoted pet advocate and the clients and patients are treated like family."
Michelle's leisure time is spent connecting with her family and all of her pets, two dogs, two guinea pigs and a Parrot.  She also enjoys painting in her spare time. Michelle believes that, "you have to love what you do for a living." From caring for patients to connecting with clients, Michelle says she enjoys every aspect of being a part of our team.

Lisa, Veterinary Technician

Lisa is our most experienced veterinary technician, working over ten years at this location. Lisa likes to relax at home after work with her pets: two Dachshunds, three Chihuahuas, and three cats She says, "I have a little Noah's Ark at home. They are my life right now." In the last year or so, Lisa has also gotten interested in fish keeping. She has been devouring books and magazines on the subject, and she now has three tanks going with a variety of aquatic life.
Lisa says the thing she likes best about working at the Clinic is "the fact that we can help animals, make them feel better, and make them happy. What else does she think that you might want to know about her? "Just that I'm a very sweet person, and I love animals."

Alicia, Veterinary Technician

She enjoys hiking, fishing (anything outside) and spending time with her family. Her experience working with Dr. Kindred and his staff has been life changing and is always eager to learn and grow. Alicia was born and raised in Western Massachusetts and recently moved to Orlando FL during the Fall of 2019. Her passion to work in the veterinary field has been a dream since she was a child. On her spare time, she loves to hang out with her Fiancé and 4 fur babies. She has 2 cats and 2 dogs. She has worked with exotic animals in the past, Birds, reptiles, fish, and small animals.

Rebecca, Veterinary Technician

Originally from Bronx, New York, Rebecca has been living in Florida for 16 years. She attended Southern Technical College and has been a vet assistant for 10 months. She has never felt more at home with a job, than she does in an animal clinic. Rebecca has been bringing her animals to Kindred Spirits long before she started but has always felt like part of the family. Her favorite part is baby talking to each pet that comes in and being apart of their journey.
She has a menagerie of animals of her own with a Great Dane, a Dachshund, and six cats. She always seems to have a rescue animal looking for their new forever home. When home, she loves spending time cuddling her furbabies, playing movie line trivia with her brother and reading.

Mckenna, Client Care Coordinator

Born in Boulder, Colorado, and raised in Absecon, New Jersey, I finally decided to ditch the
seasons and found my home here in Florida during the fall of 2019. Growing up I wanted to be a
veterinarian - that inspiration and passion paved the way towards my position at Kindred Spirits
Animal Clinic. My 4 years I have spent as a veterinary assistant before I started here has taught
me the fine art of patience, how to keep a cool head in stressful situations, and getting used to
coming home covered in fur and slobber most days of the week. One of my favorite parts of
working with animals is experiencing the bond that people have between themselves and their
four-legged family members first-hand. Our clients put their trust in us to help maintain and
strengthen that bond - being a part of that unconditional love that each pet parent has with their
baby is what it's all about. When I’m not at work, you could probably find me at home, reading
Harry Potter with my boston terrier Coco by my side, tending to my pet pacman frog and many
plants, or out exploring a part of Florida I haven’t been before. I received an Associate’s Degree
from Eastern Florida State College and I’m currently saving up to further my education at
University of Central Florida.

Pilar, Receptionist

Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Pilar moved to Florida at the age of fifteen. From a young age, she was surrounded by animals, and her deep connection with them sparked a lifelong passion for animal care.
Currently studying to become a certified veterinary technician, Pilar is dedicated to expanding her knowledge and gaining hands-on experience in the field. She finds great joy in making a meaningful impact in the lives of pets and their owners. Pilar loves educating pet parents, helping them understand their companions’ needs, and ensuring every animal receives the care and attention it deserves.
For Pilar, working with animals is more than just a job—it’s a true calling. She feels privileged to be part of a team that shares her passion for compassionate care. Outside of work, Pilar enjoys expressing herself through art, listening to music, and continually learning every day. She’s always looking for new ways to stay inspired and bring positive energy to those around her. Pilar especially enjoys spending time with her cat, Pickles, who brings joy and balance to her life.
